Great interview! You are a lucky girl! G. Garvin seems so cool on tv; it’s nice to know he’s just as down-to-earth in person. I also like Ina Garten (the Barefoot Contessa) because she uses great, simple ingredients to make real food. Her recipes are visually appealing, but they’re never so complex that I think, “Who in the world is going to do all that?!”
Girl, we are food twins. I love the Barefoot Contessa. I want to be Jeffery, because she’s always throwing down for him. She throws the best gatherings too, super jealous of her friend’s. Something about her seems so calming too, love watching her cook.
I love me some G Garvin as well, but Paula Dean is my girl. I would love to meet her and her son’s. They seem like they are so fun and very loving. I watch her and Rachel Ray all the time. Paula id my white grandma in my head love that lady.
Omg, I love him too! I missed his premiere but will be tuning in! That’s pretty freakin awesome that you had the opportunity to not only meet but interview him! Gone girl!
It’s awesome that you had the opportunity to meet and chat it up with G. Garvin! I adore him! I was so happy when came back on air with another show. If I had the opportunity to meet him, I probably would have done the butterfly and the tootsie roll lol.
I have to catch a re-run of Eden Eats because I missed it last night.
OMG!!! I’m truly jealous. I LOVE G Garvin and thought I was alone in thinking he looked like L.L. Too funny. What a great interview. I remember he had a show on TV one awhile back but didn’t realize he was on the Food Channel. My TV STAYS on Food network and HGTV on the rare occasion I actually watch TV.
He is very handsome and I’m sad to say that reading your post is the very first time that I have even heard of him. I have to get his scheduling and tune in. LOL at your husband saying dont get locked up….. hahahahah
I LOVE Chef Garvin! Lmbaaoooooo at the Butterfly? Uh uh that’s old, lemme see you Tootsie Roll! ha!
My favs are Carla Hall, formerly of Top Chef and currently on The Chew and Chef Danielle Saunder from Chopped 🙂
Great interview and I look forward to both shows!

Yes, love both channels. Check out the Cooking Channel. It’s a younger hipper Food Network.
